ABOUT THE ARTIST
A collection of all creative endeavours in visual art forms by Geometric Gypsy.
Exploring the intricacies of our world through drawing detail, lines and sacred shapes.

‘My eyes only perceive in pattern the picture puzzle being created externally through matter,
A Believer contemplates The Doors Of Perception being blown off in a limitless expansion of imagination.
The very derivative of Our Creation.
As the petals of the Flower of Life twist and extend like the DNA running through our bodies to the neurotransmitters in our head.
It just feels right.
Let's make this message widespread as the thread that links each one of us is strengthened with each positive thought that is sent.
The stars that you gaze at, come straight from your heart.
The Time is Now, Make Your Moves…Play Your Part.’
Geometric Gypsy:- The quotation above is a section extracted from a piece of poetry called ‘Look Out My Window’ and these words sum up perfectly the way in which I perceive this reality, through pattern.
I have been exploring the nature of reality and the building blocks that make up the universe and discovered that there are sacred geometrical shapes and patterns which run throughout nature from the microcosm to the macrocosm. The discovery of Sacred Geometry, The Flower Of Life, the Fibonacci Sequence and the Golden Ratio made me realise that everything is intrinsically connected and follow certain sacred patterns and laws of creation. These patterns can be found on the dilating curls of a nautilus shell, the hexagonal expansion of bees honeycomb to the stretching swirls of galaxies.
Sacred Geometry contains ancient and religious value depicting fundamental laws of space and time. It is the visual expression of the connection that is weaved through all sentient beings within the aether in a similar way that the Akashic records are encoded in a non-physical plane of existence known as the astral plane.
Sacred Geometrical pattern begins with a point, a point is without dimension and is not in space, there is no inside, no outside and this point is the source for all that follows. The point for my pattern may begin anywhere and a series of lines and shapes begin to expand from that point. More recently that point has been central and the expansion has been very precise and ordered, using similarity symmetries and regularly arranging images around a circle to create Mandalas. When creating a Mandala I allow the focus of my attention to fall deeper into this spiritual symbol therefore feeling intense connection, alignment and centred within the process of drawing.
I feel that life is held together through consecutive intricate moments and I pay attention to the tiny details of everything. Perceiving reality in this way is like wandering through an exciting, complicated, tangled labyrinth filled with mystery and magic and the only way for me to make sense of it all and find inner balance, is to reflect the intensity of the intricate details within my pieces.
My subject content can differ quite drastically from Mandalas and religious symbols, to natural forms and animals. The mediums I use can also change depending on what I am trying to achieve fluctuating between complex black and white fine line to bold and colourful designs, ultimately there is always one similarity running through my pieces and that is: ….Pattern.
